How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home (UK Sizing)

  • Cut a thin strip of paper or string, about 2mm wide and at least 100mm long.
  • Wrap it around the base of your finger where you’d normally wear your ring.
  • Make sure the fit is snug, but not too tight — the ring should slide over your knuckle comfortably.
  • Mark the spot where the paper or string overlaps to form a circle.
  • Lay the strip flat and measure it in **millimetres** – this is your finger’s circumference.
  • Use the conversion chart above to find the **corresponding UK size**.

Top Tips for Accurate Sizing

  • Measure your finger at the **end of the day** when it’s slightly larger.
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold – they shrink slightly!
  • If you're between sizes, always choose the **larger** one for comfort.
  • Wide rings feel tighter – you might need to go up half a size for wide bands.
  • Buying for someone else? Borrow a ring they wear on that finger and measure it instead.
